Project Description

Snoqualmie Falls is a popular tourist destination about 25 miles east of Seattle, Washington.  Its popularity is based on its height (higher than Niagara) and the volume of water that pours over its rim in the Spring.  It is also the location of one of the first hydroelectric dams in the Northwest.

On the day of the Summer Equinox, the sun shines directly up to Snoqualmie river from the west and provides a gorgeous setting from which to view the Falls.  This is a 5-panel panorama made with the Canon 5D MKII 1/60 sec f5.0 ISO 100 no filter.
